Environmental
Environmental concerns have reached new heights in recent years and we are nearly all involved on a personal level, while we can help drive this at a business level too using BS EN ISO 14001:2004.
ISO 14001 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system (EMS). This outlines concisely how an organisation can consistently control the individual impacts that effect the environment as well as specifying processes to continually reduce these impacts.
Achieving certification against this standard has proved to be very popular with employees and customers alike, but it is a complex and wide ranging subject to address. While AVITAR can help we have also provided some additional infomation and access to a FREE copy of PAS 2050 on the Environmental Extras page.
It is not widely understood that an orgainsation may also make a self-determination and self-declaration of conformance with this international standard and additional guidance is available in BS ISO 14004:2004 Environmental management systems, "General guidelines on principles, systems and supporting techniques".
